The procedure went smoothly…
Vancouver Laser is a remarkable business. The fact that there were 8 receptionists working simultaneously and a busy waiting area shocked me (with Covid-safe measures, of course). Even if you were just walking by, every member of staff was friendly and welcoming. The facility is enormous and has numerous hallways and therapy rooms. Normally, I’m not big on consultations, but I’m pleased I went to see Kylie. She explained my pre- and post-care in such a caring and detailed way.
With nurse Julie, I underwent PRP and Ultherapy, and the procedure went smoothly from start to finish, much like an efficient machine. She was kind and sweet. When she saw that I hadn’t eaten breakfast, she even handed me some delectable nibbles. Additionally, their membership options are quite attractive and makes the pricing incredibly fair.

The BEST medi spa physician in Vancouver is Dr. Pavlou. About three months ago, I underwent a minimally invasive facelift with Dr. Pavlou at SkinTechnique. Ultherapy is a cutting-edge procedure that boosts the production of natural collagen while using ultrasound energy to lift and tighten skin without the use of surgery.
I’m in my mid-30s, so I don’t actually NEED a “facelift” just yet. Ultherapy, however, helps people our age by increasing collagen production, which prevents your skin from sagging as rapidly and readily as you age. It’s more of a preventative maintenance for me than a repair. However, ultherapy is fantastic for achieving both ends!
Several of my acquaintances who underwent Ultherapy treatment at other clinics reported to me that the procedure was excruciatingly uncomfortable and nearly unbearable. But that was in no way the case with me! Up until the very end, when the deeper layers of my skin were being treated, my entire experience was almost painless (And I have zero pain tolerance). That is EXACTLY the reason why some people feel pain while others do not. This is so that Ultherapy can be properly administered, which calls for training, expertise, and EXPERIENCE. It is painless when the ultrasonic waves are directed at the proper depth of your skin (deeper). However, when the ultrasound merely penetrates the surface layer, it is highly uncomfortable.
Your skin might even be damaged when the procedure is carried out by a clinic with little knowledge. Finding a reliable clinic is so crucial! I heartily recommend Dr. Pavlou from SkinTechnique if you’re interested in Ultherapy or any other medical aesthetic procedures!
